This is a working draft that states our actual practices. Before public launch it should be reviewed and finalized by counsel, and the effective date set.
The short version
You can use everything on this site without creating an account. Our calculators and the Find Your Situation tool run entirely in your browser — what you type or click in them is not stored by us or sent to our servers. We do not sell personal information.
What we collect
Analytics. If analytics is enabled, we use privacy-conscious configuration (IP anonymization, no advertising features) to understand which guides help people — page views, general location at the country/region level, and anonymous interaction events such as “a template was viewed.” We do not log what you type into any tool.
Email, if you give it. If we offer downloads or updates by email, the form will say exactly what you’ll receive, and consent is never a condition for reading content. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Contact messages. If you email us, we keep the message so we can respond and fix reported errors.
What we never do
We never sell or rent personal information; never run third-party advertising trackers; never require an account to read education; and never use what you enter in an educational tool for marketing.
